I took this photo while walking in the Ginza area of Japan, near sunset hour. I saw a man cleaning the window for his workplace. I thought it would be a great opportunity to capture the reflection of the city lights and sunset. I was disappointed when I saw the unedited photo's colour. It didn’t capture the atmosphere of the area and time. Regardless, I edited the photo to see what I could do with it. I was extremely happy with it once I gave it a strong cyan tint and brought out the shining city lights in the background along with their reflection in the glass. This is a prime example of why I love editing photos, it allowed me to express what I envisioned the photo to be even though it wasn’t perfect when I captured it. This photo has gone on to be my favourite photo in term of colour tones.
